About Us
Gaz, Kate and Joseph set up Epic Adventures with the aim of promoting Rock Climbing as a Sport with emphasis on good technique and maximum safety through our Rock Climbing Coaching and Holidays.

We would like Rock Climbing to be a sport available to everyone and would like to be able to help everyone to improve in the sport with our Epic Adventures Rock Climbing Coaching and Holidays.

Epic Adventures is not only about Rock Climbing Coaching and Holidays but also about our own Epic Adventures around the World.

Gaz Parry

Gaz began climbing at the age of 12, trad climbing with Ian Vickers in the Lancashire quarries where the pair completed many first ascents. They then went on to sport climb at many of the world´s most popular venues with Gaz recently climbing 8c on the Costa Blanca.

Gaz is well known for his competition results and has been a British Team member competing successfully on the World Cup circuit for many years.

Not only is Gaz a very good competition climber but he has also proved himself a fully allround climbing on the Big Walls, including the world´s highest seacliff in Greenland.

Kate Mills

Kate started climbing on a school trip to Mallorca during sixth form and from then on, never quite got climbing out of her system, although she has nowhere near the same obsession as Gaz!

Once Kate discovered her natural strength she was determined to have a go at competition and subsequently was given a place on the British Climbing Team.

After a number of years on the team she decided to give comps a break to enable her to put more time into her outdoor climbing. Thus ending up at The Orange House in the Costa Blanca with Gaz and her horse, Joseph!

Joseph

Joseph is an eight year old Thoroughbred, he was bred for flat-racing but wasn´t interested! He is quite probably the laziest of the Epic-Adventures Team!

Although well-bred, his mother winning 13 races, Joseph prefers to eat alot and do very little! It isn´t that he isn´t talented, he can jump and gallop, its just that he doesn´t really see the point in doing most things! He does however like to throw in the occassional mad bucking fit, so don´t be fooled by his laid-back attitude!
